Tomodachi Game Mega Ends with Chapter 127

 


Mikoto Yamaguchi and Yuki Sato's Tomodachi Game manga has reached to an end of its serialization with chapter 127, Which will be published in the September issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine on August 8, 2024

This mark the end of the series, which has been published for ten and a half years, beginning in the January 2014 issue.

The final 26th volume of the manga will be released on Oct 8, 2024.

To mark the end of the series, two big projects were highlighted in the september edition of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.


The First is a compilation of congratulations messages from the principal actors who played the mail characters, Yuuichi Katagiri, in both the anime and the live-action drama Tomodachi Game R4 


Chiaki Kobayashi, who voiced Yuuchi in the anime, commented ''Congratulations on the ends! Yuuchi is a character who required a variety of expressions, and I still remember how nervous I was during the weekly recording sessions.
''

Hidaka Uksiho, who played Yuuichi in the drama, stated, ''Being introduction to Tomodachi Game and portraying Yuuichi is a treasure for me.''

The Second project is a special interview with the original creator, Mikoto Yamaguchi, and manga artist Yuki Sato. They talked about noteworthy moments, their emotions leading up to the last chapter, and messages for the readers.

Tomodachi Game has reached key milestones over its existence. The manga's total circulation has topped 6 million.

Ryo Yoshizawa starred in the 2017 live action TV drama and the film adaptation. In addition, an anime version was published in 2022, starring members of the idol groups Bishounen and HiHi Jets in a television drama.

Tomodachi Game tells the narrative of Yuuichi Katagiri, a high school student who loves friendship above everything else. He and his buddies become caught in a mystery game designed to test their friendships and reveal their secrets.

MAL summarizes the manga's plot as follows:

Yuuichi Katagiri has faced financial difficulties his entire life, but he has learnt to be content and optimistic thanks to his close group of friends. Yuuchi saves enough money to accompany them on the school trip, fulfilling a promise he made to them However, when the collected money unexpectedly disappears, suspicion falls on two of Yuuichi's friends: Shiho Sawaragi and Makoto Shibe, who were in charge of collecting the payments. Although innocent, Shiho and Makoto accept blame.


A few days later, Yuuichi and his friends get mysterious letter that deceive them into meeting up. Upon arrival, that are ambushed and knocked out. They awaken in a mystery room with ''Manabu-kun,'' a character from a controversial children's show that was canceled due to bad content. He informs the group that one of them had indirectly brought them together to settle a significant loan. They are to play a "friendship game'', a series of games designed to put their bond and trust in each other to the test. As the group's faith wavers due to the growing amount of secrets and betrayals, Yuuichi must determine out Which of his "friends" he can genuinely trust, and eventually

Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 Confirmed For 2025 Release

  A compilation film of season 1 along with a side story has also been announced. The official website of  Kaiju No. 8  anime announced that season 2 is slated for broadcast in 2025. Additionally, it was also revealed that a compilation film of Season 1, along with a special episode titled ‘ Hoshina’s Day Off ” is currently in production and will be released in the theatres in 2025.
